Awesome playlist, once again. Just like the mixtapes of old.
Alright, so I downloaded it and it didn't go to the podcasts section. Justin, here's what to do to the file so that it is read by iTunes/iPods as a podcast. If you do this and then upload the resulting file (in your iTunes folder under the podcasts folder) it will then appear as a podcast everywhere-- including when people download it.
So...
download this
http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=readdaspodcast
Run it.
Then upload the resulting file.
Tried the script - it doesn't work: It tells me web sharing can't be on - which it's not. But it won't do anything.
Well, either way I just realized that-- and this goes for anyone-- if you open iTunes, and then go to Advanced- subscribe to podcast-- and enter the rss feed for this site (http://www.nxew.ca/atomp.xml)-- it will start subscribing. Probably everybody else knew this but me, but there you are-- it's an automatic subscription, and it puts it all in iTunes podcasts.... I feel foolish.
ak17 - don't feel foolish. I was just about to ask the same question.
One suggestion - would it be possible to have the time by each artist/track? For example, if I am listening without the song list in front of me and I hear a song I really dig around 21:53, I can go back and look it up and say, "Ah, That's Rudy Jean and the Thoughtful Beas."
Sure, that's easy enough - though it should say on the screen while it's playing who it is.
