CBC Radio 2 Wants Your Songs About Canada

A few days ago CBC Radio 2 announced the performers and places in their Great Canadian Song Quest. In case you haven't been following the Great Canadian Song Place sought 13 Canadian places that needed songs and 13 performers to write those songs (they have just 4 weeks to do it and didn't get to pick the place).

Now Radio 2 is asking for your songs about Canadian places. The new contest is "for budding musicians and other Canadians to create and submit their OWN original songs about their favourite places. Songs have the chance to be featured on Drive and critiqued by the likes of legendary songwriter Murray McLachlan. Runs until Nov 20th."
