CANADIAN FILMS BOW AT DFT

A series of new Canadian films this weekend @ Detroit Film Theatre.

"Pontypool" is a dark comedy about a zombie virus in rural Ontario. Directed by Bruce McDonald who is currently making the film "This Movie Is Broken", a concert film on Broken Social Scene.

"It's Not Me, I Swear" (7PM tonight, 4PM Sat) finds a boy responding to his parents' horrible marriage in frightening ways. The Quebec-made film screens in French with English subtitles. Directed by Philippe Falardeau.
