Mike Duguay's Debut EP Free on Tuesday!

Mike Duguay, who like Julie Fader has primarily been a back up for a variety of people - including but not limited to the Burning Hell (glockenspiel, melodica, synthesizers, vocals),Unionist Uinisters( vocals, melodica, tambourine), Bloody Miracles (drums, glochenspiel, melodica, vocals), the Holy Lowdown Band (drums, accordion, vocals). When he is not doing that he is frequently booking shows in and around Peterborough and in his spare time he has written five plays, two novels and worked in local theatre as a writer, director, composer and actor.

Now he is getting ready to release his first EP - 'Lion's Share' as a preview of his debut LP (due next year). For the first week - starting tuesday - it is going to be completely free from Mike and Zunior.com. Here are the deets as I got them:

This Tuesday, November 17th, Mike Duguay will be releasing his brand new e.p., 'Lion's Share' as he embarks on a 4-date trip to St John's Newfoundland. the e.p. features three new songs and was recorded at the Sound Kitchen Studio in Peterborough by Beau Dixon. All of the playing on the record was done by mike himself.

'Lion's Share' will be available at Zunior.com as a FREE download for one week beginning tuesday morning. Don't miss your chance to get your hands on it for free. after the first week it will still be available for purchase on Zunior. the songs will also be available to listen to on Mike's Myspace as of tuesday morning, and will be available for purchase the Monday night prior at the spill cafe when Mike performs with Wax Mannequin and brand-new mum/ burning hell bandmate Jill Staveley. it will also be available at all 4 of his St John's Newfoundland shows.

'Lion's Share' is a precursor to mike's full-length that he will begin recording in the new year with acclaimed producer James Bunton (Ohbijou, Friends in Bellwoods, Evening Hymns).
