AcousticRoof.ca Takes on Gear Theft

I just got a message posted to the original NxEW Facebook Page from someone at Acoustic Roof. The organization, which helps organize house concerts and tours, is getting set to take on gear theft - which has been epidemic of late.
This is good news for Canada. There is a link on every page of NxEW.ca to Screaming Stone the "Stolen Music Instrument Recovery" project - that though is a US site and probably isn't regularly viewed by many Canadians - assuming that stolen gear isn't being trafficked south to sell the Acoustic Roof initiative could be a huge help. (Fortunately we have a link to them on every page as well.)
So, what the message said:
"If you have lost instruments/musical equipment in a theft from your vehicle or home, in the last four weeks, http://acousticroof.caThanks Acoustic Roof!!
will post your list of stolen items for a limited time, on a special
page on our website. We will also tweet the link, share it on facebook,
etc. Send list of lost items CLEARLY TYPED with
information - no pics - to contact [at[ acousticroof.ca putting STOLEN
EQUIPMENT in the subject line. If you have questions, write to same
address. THE PAGE WON'T BE THERE UNTIL WE HAVE INFO TO SHARE SO IT WILL
BE CREATED OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS."
