April Wine to be inducted into Canadian Music Hall of Fame
According to CBC News - Halifax's April Wine will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame on April 18 during the 2010 Juno Awards gala in St. John's, N.L.
The band originally formed in Halifax in 1969 before moving to Montreal in 1970. Between 1971 and 1985 they had 23 top 40 hits in Canada and 3 in the United States. They are also known for something else.

"The band is also famous for opening for a mystery group called the Cockroaches at the El Mocambo club in Toronto in 1977.
