Canada Beats US in Growth of Digital Music Sales - 4 years running

Michael Geist posted this and as he rightly points out:
"Notwithstanding the regular claims that the Canadian digital music market cannot develop without copyright reform, the Canadian market grew faster than the U.S. market for the fourth consecutive year."
The growth hasn't been spectacular (38% growth in Canada compared to 8% in the US) - we are in a recession and the fact that there has been any growth is impressive.

You can see all the stats at MichaelGeist.ca.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - everyone under the age of 50 knows how to get music for free if they want to. It's your fans loyalty to you and nothing else that will put money in your pocket.
