the 2010 "Indie" Awards

Although I can't agree with every award and some of them seem really obvious I have to say that the Indies seem to have a better grasp on what happened last year in Canadian music than most of the various awards with the Great Lake Swimmers, the Arkells, the Rural Alberta Advantage, Alex Cuba, D-sisive, the Constantines, Metric and Joel Plaskett all walking away with major awards.
