Alissa Agres

Alissa Agres is obsessed with music, namely Canadian Indie music. She resides in Waterloo, after spending her formative years living in various parts of California. (yes, I can surf, no, I don't know any celebreties). As an intermediate art teacher, she spends her days introducing her students to what's new and amazing in Canadian music while they work. Sometimes they even tell her they like the music.

An advid environmentalist, she loves spending time outside and is often found wandering the streets with her dog and her iPhone. She thinks the CBC Radio App is the awesome, an the only channel programmed into her satalitte radio is Radio 3. She's also an avid concert goer, dedicated yogi, and aspires to play the banjo. Always searching for anything new and exciting in music, she strolls to shows at the Starlight in Waterloo, and often makes the trip to Toronto. Despite her love of music, she was asked to lip sync in her grade 6 chorus and refuses to sing in public.
