Andrea Krepelka

I'm a musician, writer and media junkie that is constantly seeking music that actually speaks, moves and changes how an audience looks at the world around them. I'm equal parts city slicker and country girl, having lived in wide open spaces earlier in life and now find myself surrounded by concrete in my current station. I've been playing piano since I was five, exposed to a variety of different music - classical and jazz from my fathers influence, rock and old country from my mothers, and 80's synth/rock/pop from my brother.

A brief outline of my education and experience is thus: Initially I went to Wilfrid Laurier for Music performance, but switched to an Honours in English and Communications and a minor in Music. I followed that with a Diploma program at Humber for Television Writing and Producing. Currently I work as a proofreader and copyeditor for a press release agency. I want to be doing more writing, however, I love that I'm constantly reading all day! I also spend my offtime performing in a 60's inspired surf band as their keyboardist.
