André Terra

I'm a 24 male born in Brazil (I must say I don't consider my
nationality to be particularly relevant). Officially, I've just
concluded my International Relations major (I'm currently studying to be a diplomat). I take some of my hobbies pretty seriously to the point where they occasionally get mixed up with my regular career plans, so in the past couple of years I've done everything from playing in a band to web design/development to teaching English (which happens to be my current part-time job). I'm also taking an introductory course on the History of Modern Art, just to keep my mind fresh and the artistic veins flowing. I should probably mention that I have lived in the US twice. First in Texas for a year (2001-2002) and later in Vermont for 6 months (2006-2007).

I listen to music 24/7 and have always felt the desire to write about it, especially when I stumble upon a new album from an
underappreciated artist. Although I haven't written anything about music in quite a while (I had a blog back in 2002-2003), I like the low-commitment approach you guys have. I figure it can't hurt to sit down and write about art once in a while.
