Andru's career in entertainment started at the young age of four where he worked in both the film, and television industry, in Vancouver, Canada. His diverse set appearances included Stephan J. Canell's "Wiseguy" starring Ken Wahl, and "We're No Angels" starring Sean Penn, Robert DiNero, and the then up and coming Demi Moore.

The highlight of his theater career was when he was still in middle school. Andru was exposed to the complex world of Shakespeare, through the University Of Arizona Drama Department, in Tucson, Arizona, when he was cast to perform the role of Fleance, the son of Banquo, in MacBeth.

It was around that time that his interests expanded to radio, where, at 13, Andru secured an internship in Radio.

He has performed at such venues as the University of Arizona and Arizona State University and other various functions. He received his high school letters for his participation and dedication to the Canyon Del Oro Marching Band from 1998-2002.
