Chris Andrade

Having completed a two-year Radio Broadcasting program in my native Toronto and spending a number of summers interning at AM640/Q107, I ended up in the corporate world of IT which would eventually move me to Calgary. At one point in early 2004, bored with my job, I launched a weekly music newsletter called kMNR where essentially I emailed my friends news about bands we all loved. It grew from there with over 100 subscribers until late 2007 when I decided to tackle the world of podcasting. That's when Off the Dial was born and in 15 months since making the transition, we've grown to include a handlful of contributing writers. For a time, you could also find my handiwork in Calgary-based BeatRoute magazine.
