I played trumpet throughout high school and had two years of piano classes, but in no way am I musical. Thankfully, lack of musical talent has no impact on the ability to love great music, and once I finally found out what great music truly was (with the help of Radio 3!), I have been obsessed with Canadian talent. I live in the ridiculously small town of Swift Current, Saskatchewan despite my concert-junkie ways, which also means I do a lot of traveling. Though Swift Current's scene does not come close to the talent throughout the rest of the country, Regina and Saskatoon are rising to the challenge. Thankfully, both are within driving distance. Canada has an incredible wealth of talented musicians, and it is my goal to spread the word.
