Dashiell Brown

Dashiell Brown is a freelance music journalist/writer and a dj for The New Spin, "the best music you've never heard," on 93.5 CHMR-FM, which features underground and Canadian artists, often unsigned. Some Wicked, his blog, focuses on the underground music culture of which he has been following for 20 years. He has just finished making a new album for the 2009 RPM Challenge, organic electronic folk music under the name Circuit Tree, now streaming at thenewspin.ca. He is also going to be one of the judges for the 100% Music Songwriting Contest for 2009. Dashiell Brown is originally from Santa Barbara, CA, but has found a home in St. John's, Newfoundland with his wife and two daughters.
