Johanna Innes

I was born and raised in Ottawa, and followed my retired parents to South Carolina after I graduated from Carleton (honestly for lack of anything better to do). Fast forward almost ten years, and I'm now a paramedic and medical student. Canadian indie music has kept me connected with home, and I take every opportunity to see Canadian bands when they tour the Southeastern US. Every trip home to Ontario is packed with as many shows as I can handle (and sometimes more). The beauty of Canadian indie is the sheer variety, and I love it all. I could never pick just one genre to call my favourite - there's room in my heart for everything.
