Kelsey Strickland

I grew up in Toronto, got an undergrad from Dalhousie University but returned to Toronto in 2007. After sitting at a desk for two years working as an event planner, I quit my job to focus more on music and the things I love….such as standing. I now spend my time working as an assistant to a Juno nominated Jazz artist, interning at MTV Canada, volunteering for the music and special initiatives department at War Child, and freelancing as a music publicist when I can. On top of all this, I’m a bartender at Opera Bob’s on Dundas, a radio co-host on indielove.ca’s Sunday night 8pm-11pm show and I organize a monthly indie show at Clinton’s.
