Sioux Newberry Sioux Newberry is a genre-bending singer/songwriter
who has recently relocated to Kingston from the buzzing town of Peterborough,
Ontario. With the gift of gab and an ear for freshness, Sioux has
toured this Brobdingnagian country as a musician and traveller, playing
in festivals, cafes, pubs and street corners in bands that create
music from hip-hop to country, to pop-rock-jazz and back. Currently
in-studio recording her 2nd full-length solo album, Sioux is all aflutter
to gawk over fabulous new indie-Canadian music in Kingston, and beyond!
She will be hosting a weekly Kingston open-mic for poets, songwriters
and lovers here in town...come join us! You can find her chirping
