Emma Ditchburn defects from the Most Serene Republic

Chartattack is reporting that Emma Ditchburn and the band have parted ways, making the public just a little less serene. Word originally came out on bands website which reads:
"Longevity Please,There is enough talent involved in TMSR that I'm sure they will bounce back with something amazing, though I can't imagine their older songs without Ditchburn's voice. Hopefully that voice too will be back in some form shotly, even if it's outside of the Republic.
For the past 5 years we have had the pleasure of working with a close friend & bandmate by the name of Emma Ditchburn.
So with that we feel that we should inform you that Emma will no longer be performing with us. We wish Emma all the
best with her future endeavours and know that she will continue to do great things.
We would like to give you a B-side from ...A.T.E.E.U. This is the last track that Emma recorded with us.
Longevity Please
Please know that this is not the end of TMSR, but a brand new chapter that we are very excited to write for you.
Expect our new EP to be released sometime this Spring/Early Summer.
Keep Soon,
TMSR"
