NxEW Mixtape: Episode 1 Redux

Last week I posted Episode 1 of the NXEW mixtape. Sadly it turns out my copy of Garageband is old and doesn't do chapters. So I'm going to upgrade it but AK17 came to the rescue, embedding links in the podcast and recording an intro so I'm reposting it, with it's own feed.

Before I get to the links a couple of questions

1) I am resistant to the idea of posting on iTunes but I've heard from alot of people who think that we should - let me know if you have any thoughts on this
2) Does the m4a file format work for you or does there need to be an Mp3 option as well?
3) Whether you are a writer for this site or not, if you feel like recording an intro for the podcast, please record and MP3 and email it to me ( northbyeastwest at gmail.com )

So as I said on Friday, with the new links included

This is the first episode of what I'm calling the NxEW Mixtape Podcast. It is 60 minutes of music without commentary (no talking just music.) It is a mix of old stuff and new stuff but I hope you enjoy. Comments/suggestions are more than welcome.

I'd like to thank everyone who allowed me to use their music for this (as well as future episodes.) The response so far has been enormous and episode 2 is already taking shape nicely. Please support the artists who make this possible by buying some music, going to shows, buying t-shirts and otherwise showing them some love.

download the M4a
